Max Lynch

Physiotherapist

Max grew up in New Zealand and graduated from the University of Otago with a double degree in Physiotherapy and Physical Education and Sports Science. His studies built a solid foundation in evidence-based rehabilitation, movement science, biomechanics and

exercise prescription that still shapes how he helps patients reach their health goals.

He started his career in private practice in Wellington, where he spent four years treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. During that time Max completed postgraduate training in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and became an internationally

credentialled McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment therapist. These qualifications sharpened his assessment, hands-on treatment and rehabilitation skills.

For the past two years he has been based in Edinburgh, Scotland. There he added acupuncture and dry needling to his toolkit while working with patients from both hemispheres. This experience strengthened his ability to manage both acute and persistent conditions

through a blend of manual therapy, education, exercise and evidence-based approaches. He is currently completing further studies in Hand Therapy to keep expanding the care he can offer.

Now part of the Align team, Max is committed to delivering high-quality Physiotherapy services to children and families across the Cayman Islands.
