Georgia White

Physiotherapist

Georgia grew up in New Zealand and graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Distinction in 2020 from the University of Otago in Dunedin. She then spent the next four years working in a private musculoskeletal practice in Wellington before moving to Edinburgh, Scotland, where she has been based for the last two years.

Working across both hemispheres has given Georgia broad experience treating people of all ages and backgrounds, from children to those in their nineties. She has managed a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions in settings ranging from local community clinics to elite sporting environments. This variety has helped her develop a versatile skill set tailored to each person’s individual goals and needs.

Georgia’s passion for physiotherapy began early. She has always loved exercise and sport, whether playing, coaching or umpiring. This naturally led her into a career where she could help others experience the joy of movement and achieve their personal goals. For her, there is nothing better than supporting someone as they overcome an injury and return to the activities they love. This sense of fulfilment drives her to keep developing her skills.

Over the past six years she has pursued further training to deliver the best evidence-based care. Georgia is an internationally credentialled McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy therapist. She also holds a Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and has completed Pilates Mat training at Levels 1, 2 and 3.

Raised in an active family, Georgia played a range of sports with netball as her main focus. She particularly enjoyed the conditioning side of training, which has translated into a love for running and gym work in adulthood. She has now completed two marathons and enjoys chasing new personal bests. Her background in sport and recent Pilates training make her a strong advocate for exercise-based rehabilitation. She believes that smart, progressive loading combined with clear education and supportive care forms the foundation for successful recovery.

Outside of work, Georgia and her fiancé Max love to travel. After two years exploring the culture and history of the UK and Europe, they are excited to move to the Cayman Islands and embrace island life.

Now part of the Align team, Georgia is committed to delivering high-quality Physiotherapy services to children and families across the Cayman Islands.
