Stewart’s passion for physiotherapy comes from a natural drive to help others restore their independence, manage complex conditions, and achieve their personal goals. He has worked with patients from all walks of life — from post-operative orthopaedic cases to those living with chronic pain, neurological conditions, and multi-morbidity. He takes great pride in combining thorough clinical reasoning with a compassionate, patient-centred approach, ensuring his patients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Stewart has delivered individualised treatments to patients in various clinics, hospitals and home settings throughout the northeast of Scotland. He places strong emphasis on evidence-based practice, patient education, and goal setting to achieve meaningful, sustainable outcomes. His diverse experience allows him to adapt treatment approaches to meet the needs of each patient, whether they are recovering from surgery, living with a long-term condition, or aiming to improve their mobility and quality of life.

In addition to his clinical practice, Stewart has pursued ongoing professional development through advanced training in musculoskeletal assessment, rheumatology, chronic pain management, orthopaedic rehabilitation protocols, neurological assessment, and falls prevention strategies. His colleagues have consistently recognised his strong communication skills, robust assessment strategies & individualised treatment approaches, as well as his ability to form meaningful relationships with his patients based on trust and empathy. Outside of the clinic, Stewart enjoys living an active and adventurous lifestyle. He enjoys playing basketball, pickleball, as well as running and working out. He also loves camping, hiking, and foraging in the outdoors. A passionate free-diver, he has explored waters across the world while foraging for crabs, scallops, and oysters. Music is another important part of his life, and he enjoys playing guitar and engaging in creative musical pursuits.
