Michalina Kwiatkowska (Mika)
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Mika qualified as a physiotherapist at the Université de Sherbrooke in April 2016, completing a joint Bachelor's and Master's programme in physiotherapy (M. Pht.). She is registered with the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (permit P16042) and holds a CPAM practising licence in the Cayman Islands. Before her physiotherapy degree she studied exercise science at Concordia University.
She has spent nearly ten years in private musculoskeletal practice in Montreal, working in sports and orthopaedic clinics across the city and on the West Island. Her caseload has covered acute injury, post operative rehabilitation, postural and desk related pain, and return to sport and work. She has also supervised physiotherapy students and worked closely with orthopaedic surgeons, family physicians, employers and insurers so that care stays coordinated.
Alongside her clinical work she has kept up postgraduate training in manual therapy, sports physiotherapy, vestibular rehabilitation, ELDOA, concussion management, Mulligan techniques and kinesiology taping. She is comfortable explaining a diagnosis in plain language, in English or French, and building a plan patients can actually follow.
Mika takes a hands on, person centred approach. She assesses the whole picture, treats with manual therapy and exercise, and sets honest goals around pain, movement and a return to the activities that matter to the patient. She has been in private practice on island since December 2025.
