Neuro Muscular-skeletal Physiotherapist

Michael is a Neuro Muscular-skeletal Physiotherapist. He graduated in 2016, from the University of Brighton. After graduating Michael worked as an outpatients NMSK specialist for the military as well as pitch side sports physio for national level rugby and cricket teams. He also worked as a respiratory physio during the COVID pandemic for the NHS. Michael has extensive experience with inpatient orthopedics, working at the highly respected King Edwards Hospital, famous for being the royal family's hospital of choice.

To better his practice skill and improve patient outcomes, Michael has continued to undertake further education, including a 3-month long postgraduate acupuncture course allowing him to be a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, as well as yearly short courses, including pitch side care courses with the RFU and FIFFA. Further to this, Michael is also studying a Masters with the Society of Muscular Skeletal Medicine.

Michael treats with a hands-on and patient education approach. Utilising the time in clinic with manual therapy, manipulation, soft tissue, acupuncture, and function strength training, along with simple at-home exercises to conduct between sessions. This blended approach means patients get better quicker.

When Michael isn’t working, he can be found with his humane rescue dog, Yan, playing sports, on or under the water. He also likes jumping out of planes when he gets the opportunity.
