Sports Massage Therapist

Mateusz qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist and Soft Tissue Therapist in 2007 at the London School of Sports Massage. He is a member of Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy. Mateusz  worked for over 10 years in the  highest tier of competition in the English Football League, between 2007 and 2012 in Crystal Palace FC and from 2012 to 2019 in Queens Park Rangers FC as the first team massage therapist, working to support sport medicine doctors, chiropractors and physiotherapists in multidisciplinary medical departments. 

Apart from working with professional footballers he worked in a private physiotherapy clinic treating tennis players, golfers, runners and many other athletes. In addition he worked with non athletes with injuries, back pain and other issues.

Mateusz used to compete internationally in different martial arts such as Sport or Brazilian jiu jitsu. He treated competitive athletes (boxers, wrestlers, jiu jitsu grapplers and mixed martial arts fighters) on an every day basis and during special events like the CBJJ European Championship Tournament. For many years he had cooperated with charities by supervising  teams of upcoming massage therapists treating participants of  several London Marathons.

During his career as an therapist he has learned how to treat patients (athletes and non-athletes) with different health conditions (chronic or acute back pain, joint repairs or replacements, sciatica, osteoporosis etc.) using many different types of sport and remedial massage techniques and soft tissue manipulations. 

Mateusz is also a PADI scuba instructor and keen underwater photographer, using his passion for the underwater world to help care for the environment.
