Heidi Kimmer

Acupuncturist

Heidi is a licensed acupuncturist, board-certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She graduated with a master's in acupuncture from Northwestern Health Sciences University and attended additional training in Tianjian, China.

In her career as an acupuncturist, Heidi has worked at a large hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and seen patients through her private practice. She has provided community-style acupuncture in addiction treatment facilities and mental health treatment programs.

Heidi has also served on the Acupuncture Advisory Council for the Minnesota Medical Board.

Heidi discovered acupuncture at a young age when she was struggling with migraines. She found acupuncture transformative, and the treatments gave her more ease in her body. She later attended graduate school to share the healing benefits of acupuncture with others.

Heidi enjoys helping patients manage chronic pain conditions. She is also experienced in treating acute pain conditions, anxiety and mental health, women's health issues, fertility and IVF preparation, digestive concerns, and more. Heidi enjoys building relationships with her patients and believes in providing patient-centered care. She strives to make sure her patients feel comfortable and cared for.

Heidi is a certified yoga instructor. She enjoys practicing qigong and meditation at home. Heidi and her family are avid hikers and love to travel. She has recently moved to Grand Cayman with her husband, son, and puppy and is very excited to explore the island and settle in.
